I started my journey preserving flowers in honor of my daughter, Cara, who passed away at the age of 17. She always wore a flower in her hair. In order to share her light and love, I started creating floral pieces with resin to gift to my family and friends. Slowly, people began asking me to create pieces to commemorate their own loved ones and special occasions, which eventually lead me to start my home business Grateful Daze Boutique in 2018.
Alongside my partner Dean Lillis we have studied and developed techniques to dry flowers preserving their natural color and carefully preserve them in resin. Our pieces stand above the rest with little to no air bubbles, soft and finished edges and a shine to brighten up any space.
Together we create each piece in our home studio with our personal touch. We look forward to working with you to create your items to commemorate your special day or memory of a loved one.
