I have been struggling with Anxiety for the past several years. I tried anti-anxiety meds and other “self-medications” but the anxiety continued to worsen (I believe due to the medications themselves, medications can be harmful to our system). I have now turned to yoga, meditation and mindfulness along with talk therapy to help me deal with life’s stresses. Calling myself back to center and reminding myself where my feet are. I remember that all around me is part of my Nature and a lot of what I fear is natural. I have begun to appreciate the very little and not to get shaken up by the “small stuff”. Finding the positive in All and being Kind to others and especially myself is my ongoing practice in an effort to find PEACE. My mantra “be kind”.
